1. Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy is a crucial component of the Site's Terms of Use (the "Terms"). Any capitalized term in this Privacy Policy that is not defined will have the meaning assigned to it in the Terms. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" refers to information that can be used, either alone or in conjunction with other information, to identify an individual, including a first and last name, email address, phone number, home address, and other contact details. In certain jurisdictions, an IP address may also be classified as Personal Information. In such instances, we will treat the IP address as personal information in all aspects of handling and safeguarding.

You are not legally required to provide us with Personal Information, nor must you use the Site initially. By utilizing the Site and engaging with the Services, you consent to this Privacy Policy and our described information practices. If you disagree with this Privacy Policy, please refrain from accessing or using the Site or the Services. Our data processing practices rely on consent, contract fulfillment, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.

2. Our Legal Bases for Processing. We process and utilize Personal Information in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Our legal bases for processing your Personal Information typically include one or more of the following:

   - Consent. When necessary, we may request your consent to process your Personal Information to offer additional services (for example, when you subscribe to our newsletters or provide us with Personal Information to receive personalized loan information). If we rely on consent as our legal basis, you may withdraw your consent by submitting a request through our contact form. Please note that partial or irrelevant inquiries may not receive a response. Once we verify your request, we will reach out to you.

   - Contract Performance. By accessing or using the Site, you indicate your intention to utilize our Services and request us to provide them. To fulfill this, we need to process certain Personal Information—such as financial details—to present you with offers from our Partners (as detailed in section 3.1.1).

   - Legitimate Interests. Your Personal Information may be utilized if we have valid business reasons for doing so. This includes operating, enhancing, and promoting the Services (for example, by personalizing your experience or analyzing usage trends) and safeguarding our business (for instance, by managing fraud or ensuring the Site's security).

   - Legal Obligations. We may use your Personal Information in specific situations to comply with regulatory requirements (for example, addressing complaints from users or authorities). Your Personal Information is gathered through various channels—when you provide us with your information, when we collect it from your device, or when you interact with us or receive it from your interactions with others.

3. Information We Collect. When you visit the Site or utilize the Services, we may gather certain information about your visit and usage of the Site and the Services in one or more of the following ways:

   - Information You Provide to Us. Some Services require you to submit Personal Information to access them. You must explicitly and actively consent to such Services and features (for example, submitting your financial information to be contacted by our Partners regarding potential loan offers or subscribing to newsletters available on certain Sites) and some information will be collected upon your consent to this Privacy Policy, as outlined below.

   - Third Party Forms and Services: The Site features, rates, and compares various financial service businesses, lending partners, platforms, brands, and commercial entities (collectively referred to as "Partners"), along with their products and services (collectively, "Products"). We may present you with offers and Products from Partners through an online request that you fill out, based on your intent and consent, and such information will be utilized to facilitate your connection and/or engagement with the relevant Partners (“Lead”). Information you submit will also be directly provided to our Partners and will be used according to their privacy policies as well as this one. The Personal Information you provide will be utilized by us as described in section 2 above.

   - Contact Us. If you send us a request, whether by completing our form or sending an email or through other means, you may provide us with certain Personal Information, such as your name and email address. This information, including the content of your request, will be used to address your inquiry and for our legitimate business purposes, as described in sections 4 and 5 below.

   - Blogs, Newsletters, Surveys, and Promotions. The Site may feature a blog forum, reviews, and articles that provide information about the Partners, Products, and relevant market sectors. The Site may also give you the chance to subscribe to newsletters. Your interaction (such as subscribing to a newsletter) may require you to provide certain Personal Information, including your name and email address.

   - Information We Collect from You. We gather information regarding your use of the Services and your interaction with the Site or the Services in the following ways:

     - Device Information: For compatibility and delivery purposes, including language, geographic location, and time zone, we collect device information such as device type and version, operating system type, language, version, and details that can be extracted from a user agent, like browser type and screen resolution.

     - Interactions and Usage: To provide the Services, operate the Site, continuously improve it, and synchronize with our Partners and affiliates, we collect information about your interaction and use of the Services, including URLs that directed you to the Site and those you are referred to from the Site, internal URLs of the Site (such as your views or clicks), and date/time stamps of Site usage.

     - Log Files: We collect information through server log files and by employing tracking technologies within the Site, such as pixel tags. This is done to analyze trends, monitor user engagement, and interaction with the Site and respective Services. The information collected may include internet protocol (IP) addresses assigned to your device by your Internet Service Provider. We collect IP addresses for a limited time and for specific purposes: one is to better understand your geographic location (country, region, and language) to provide the Services in your language; second, we utilize automated tools to analyze IP addresses and identify fraudulent ones; third, we may retain your IP address to document any consents you have provided to us or the Partners.

     - Cookies and Similar Technologies: The Site may utilize "cookies" and other anonymous web tracking technologies (such as "web beacons") implemented by us or by third-party service providers. A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters sent to your computer when you visit a website. When you return to the website, the cookie allows that website to recognize your browser. Cookies may store your online preferences and other information regarding your interactions on the Site. You can configure your browser to refuse all cookies or to notify you when a cookie is being sent. However, some features or services on the Site may not function properly without cookies and may become unavailable in such cases. A pixel tag is a type of technology placed on a website to track activity on websites or when emails are opened or accessed (if applicable) and is often used in conjunction with cookies. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for more information about the types of cookies used and how we utilize cookies/tracking technologies on our Site.

   - Information We Receive from Third Parties. Like many internet-based services, the Site and the Services are operated and provided in collaboration, synchronization, and interaction with third parties, including Partners, affiliates, and other entities. To enable and facilitate such synchronization, as well as to provide you with tailored offers and services from Partners, we may receive information from third parties, such as an internal user identifier generated by our system for each user, details of Products you purchased or applied for from the Partners, and a summary of actions taken by you (e.g., click, purchase, view, form submission, or a phone call). In some Sites, you will have the option—at your discretion—to consume the Service on a click-by-call basis. In such cases, a third-party vendor facilitates the call transmission, tracking, and feedback for success. In these instances, the phone number from which you called will be provided to us (without any additional information about you), for a limited time and for the purpose of resolving referrals and successful calls with our Partners. Except for this purpose, we do not utilize this information for any other reasons unless you provide us with your explicit consent.

4. How We Utilize Personal Information. In addition to the uses of information we collect (including Personal Information, collectively referred to as “your Information”) described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we also use Personal Information in the following ways: to administer and make the Site and Services available to you; to further develop and generally enhance the Site and the Services; for counting and tracking referrals and advertisements; to validate users as human and monitor for fraud; to respond to your inquiries and other communications; to identify or authenticate your access and use of the Site; and to market personalized offers to you. We may share your Information with our storage providers, other service providers, social media platforms, enforcement agencies (if necessary), Partners, affiliates, analytic tools, and mapping features.

5. Sharing Your Information with Third Parties. We do not share your Personal Information with third parties, except under the following circumstances:

   - Data Storage and Security Platforms (“Data Platforms”): We utilize third-party cloud and storage services to store and retain all Information we collect about you. This means that we send or share your Information with third-party entities located worldwide, including in the U.S., for the purpose of storing such information on our behalf or for other processing needs. Such entities include Amazon Web Services (whose privacy policy is available at: https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/). We employ Data Platforms that maintain strict privacy protection and data security policies, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws.

   - Third Party Service Providers: We may share your Information with various third-party service providers that assist us with our business operations (for example, customer service representatives and email or phone administration providers) and help us understand how users engage with the Site and Services. These providers will process your Personal Information only on our behalf.

   - Social Media Platforms: We may share hashed versions of your Information with our advertising partners, such as Google and Meta, to enhance the relevance of the ads you see through services like Google Customer Match. We may also share information with social media platforms (such as Facebook, TikTok, etc.) for marketing and operational purposes. Such social media platforms may independently collect your Personal Information and may combine the anonymized information we provide with your Personal Information that they collect, to which you have given your separate and independent consent. Any such actions and any Personal Information derived from them are governed by the social media's own privacy policy and are not controlled or known by us. To the extent permitted by law, you may opt-out of this data sharing as outlined in section 9 below (State Privacy Notice).

   - Enforcement. We may share your Personal Information with any third party if we believe that disclosing such information is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (b) enforce our Terms of Use, including investigating potential violations; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud or security issues; and/or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of Sovacomm, our affiliated entities, our users, yourself, and/or the public.

   - Offerors. If you choose to receive offers from our Partners based on your Personal Information, the Services may prompt you to submit an online request (“Request”). In such cases, we will send your Request information or otherwise share it with our Partners and service providers so that these Partners can provide you with personalized offers and contact you with the requested information. When you submit a Request, both Sovacomm and the offerors may reach out to you directly with quotes or offers via any communication methods you provided: mail, email, telephone, text message, and others. You may receive telemarketing calls from offerors or third parties on their behalf (including using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice) as a result of submitting a request through our services, even if your telephone number is registered on a state, corporate, or federal do-not-call registry. You will be able to find out the identity of the Partner with whom your information is shared, or a list of such Partners and service providers before you consent to such sharing. In either case, you acknowledge that: (a) the Partners may contact you using the Request information you submitted; (b) we do not control how Partners may contact you or the subject matter of such contact; and (c) each Partner must provide its own privacy policy, which may not necessarily adhere to this Privacy Policy.

   - Affiliates, Merger, Sale, or Bankruptcy. We may share your information with our group companies (e.g., parent company, subsidiary, sister company, or other affiliated entities). If Sovacomm or one of our affiliated entities is acquired by, or merged with, a third-party entity, or if we sell all or part of our assets, we may (and hereby reserve the right to) transfer or assign the Personal Information and other information we have collected or received. In such cases, the acquiring entity will manage the data practices and provide you with any rights as required by the applicable law.

   - Analytic Tools. We may utilize analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Tableau. These tools assist us in understanding user behavior on our Site and Services, including tracking page content, click/touch movements, scrolls, and keystroke activities. For more information about cookies, please refer to our Cookie Policy. For further details about Google cookies, click here.    - Google Maps. The Site may feature Google Maps functionalities and content. The use of such Google Maps features and content is subject to the current version of the Google Privacy Policy available at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

6. Links to and Interaction with Third Party Properties. The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as those of Partners), content, and other online properties (collectively referred to as "Third Party Properties"). Data associated with your navigation to such Third Party Properties, as well as any Personal Information you provide on those Third Party Properties, is shared with the third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties or for the data collection practices of those Third Party Properties, Products, and respective entities. We encourage you to review the terms and conditions and privacy policies of each Third Party Property you choose to use or engage with.

7. Choices and Opt-Out. You have the option to provide us with your information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. You can choose at any time to exercise your rights concerning your Personal Information according to the applicable law. For example (where relevant):

   - State Privacy Notice. As previously mentioned, some of our data collection is governed by the GLBA. However, in some instances, state privacy laws may apply to our data sharing. This section may apply to you and supplement the main privacy policy. Various state privacy laws grant specific rights to their residents concerning their Personal Information. If you reside in one of the relevant states and to the extent permitted by law, you may:

Please refer to Section 3.1 (Information You Provide to Us), Section 3.2 (Information We Collect), and Section 3.3 (Information We Receive from Third Parties) to check applicability and the conditions for exercising this right. We will also disclose the specific pieces of Personal Information we collected about you if we receive your request for such information in accordance with the sections mentioned above and verify your identity.

     - Request for Deletion. You may have the right to request that we delete any of your Personal Information that we collect and retain, subject to certain exceptions (such as detecting security incidents, debugging, complying with legal obligations, etc.). We will remove your Personal Information from our records once we verify your identity, unless an exception applies.
